Flushing oil is a low viscosity oil designed to flush out dirty or contaminated oil during an oil change to reduce contamination of the fresh oil.
Applications
Flushing oil is suitable for use in automotive gasoline and diesel engines to flush through contaminated or very dirty oil prior to re-filling with the correct lubricant. The engine must be warmed up and then drained before the filling with flushing oil. Once filled run the engine at low speeds but not under load until warm and the oil has circulated but do not allow to idle for long periods. Drain the oil thoroughly fit a new oil filter and re-fill with the correct lubricant. Do not drive the vehicle while filled with flushing oil.
